REGISTRATION, ABSTRACT & POSTER GUIDELINES
There are 2 types of registration. Please read carefully before register for the programme.
Fee-paying Participants
- REQUIREMENTS
- Open to anyone.
- Limited to 20 seats only.
- Registration will close on 15 November 2025.
- Include school package, meals, access to trade exhibitions and lucky draws.
- Include local tours.
- Poster presentation is compulsory for this category of participants. A poster must be submitted in a PDF file to the secretariat (via apsn2025.medic[at]upm.edu.my) by 25 November 2025. Printing of poster is included in the fee.
- Register and pay via online to complete the registration (instructions on how to pay via UPM Paygate system will be given towards the end of the registration).
- LPO will be considered for group registration for 3 or more participants – Registrants must sign a guarantee letter for this mode of payment. For this payment mode, please contact apsn2025.medic[at]upm.edu.my before registration. Spots will be reserved upon signing a guarantee letter.
- Accommodation and local transfers are not included in the fee.

ISN Travel Awardees
- REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career scientists working in neuroscience, neurochemistry, genomics, or bioinformatics from the Asia-Pacific region are eligible to apply.
- Students will be selected on the basis of their academic record (especially peer-reviewed publications), stage of career and experience, as well as referee reports.
- Selection will be coordinated by the APSN-ISN School 2025 committee.
- Must purchase own travel insurance (proof of purchase is needed before travel).
- Shared accommodations throughout the school will be provided. Accommodation will not be provided to awardees from Klang Valley regardless of nationalities.
- All local ground transportation related to the school programme will be provided.
- An economy return air ticket will be provided. Applicants must obtain approval from the organising committee before purchasing their tickets. Reimbursements will be given to those who attended the school. Awardees who failed to obtain a visa or did not attend the school can not apply for reimbursement of any airfares spent.
- Meals will be provided throughout the school. When meals are not provided, subsistence allowance will be provided for school awardees.
- Awardees are expected to arrive on 7 December 2025 before the opening ceremony and return on or after 13 December 2025. No additional accommodations, meals subsistence or local transportation will be provided after the stipulated date.
- Awardees are entitled to and must attend the entire programme of the school.
- Awardees must present a poster during the school. The poster must be submitted in a PDF file to the secretariat by 25 November 2025.
- The application will open on 1 September 2025 and close on 30 September 2025.
- Announcement of school awardees will be made on or before 31 October 2025.
- All travel arrangements must be arranged by 20 November 2025 or else the seat will be given to reserved awardees.

Abstract & Poster Guidelines
- REQUIREMENTS
- The abstract may be based on your previous or current research work, whether already presented elsewhere or not yet presented.
- The poster will be printed by the organizer. Therefore, kindly e-mail your completed poster as a PDF file by 25 November 2025 to apsn2025.medic[at]upm.edu.my.
